The quiet freight premium showing up before crude headlines do
I am seeing the premium build first in shipping behavior, then in broker tone, and only later in public commentary.
What I keep coming back to is macro energy flow analysis with crude-forward and tanker-rate positioning signals. The reason I am flagging it today rather than next week is that the behaviour has started to compound rather than oscillate, which is usually the tell that the underlying positioning is already moving.
